5/6/09If I was going to grade someones blog.
1. I would decide how they place their paragraphs to see if they go 1 2 3 last.
2. I would check their spelling.
3.I would check how many sentences they had in a paragraph.
4.i would make sure they did not use run on`s.
5.See if they are making sense.
6.Make sure they do not write the same word twice.
7.make sure you capitalize names.
8.make sure they number.
9.they must have three paragraphs.
10.Write in complete sentences.




5/4/09 If I wrote a book the main character would be a hunter that hunts all season long and he would tell about one hunt in one chapter.
He can use anything to hunt like I would have a chapter where he kills a rat coon with a p,b,c pipe. Then he beats up a mountain lion with his bare hands and lives. He would of probably be a man who ran away from home as a kid and has three dogs. He is a champion mush room hunter because he found the biggest in the world. Then one he almost dies.


I think Laney is sarcastic with her brothers she talks to the boys in her class like she is a king. She is a tom boy she lives with four guys and she plays Bass Ball with the guys. Sometimes she wines to her dad she is about to ask her dad if she can be in the play that her teacher set up. She sometimes is nice when she talks to herself but she is cool for beating a boy in a race that is always a jerk to her I think they don`t let girls play ball because she is a better athlete. She thinks that every one should play Bass Ball she has the hart of a lawyer and she gets decent grades she says.


I always think of what the character looks like and picture them in my mind and see if that is what they look like sometimes I guess right. In Freak The Mighty I thought freak was shorter and sounded like an alien but I guess Mr.McGuire just likes to talk like that just kidding.

I just started on a new book it is about a boy named Cody his Grampah calls him the White Fox because he has yellow and
white hair.

Oogruk is really a person that does not give up because he had to hunt for birds for a man that is blind.
For him too so he can eat but he keeps missing them with a bow. But the old man told him to look
where you want the arrow to hit and let the string go.

1/5/09 Goals for new nine weeks
 I want to get strait A`s the whole 9 weeks. If I want to be successful I will have to study for every test every night so I can ace it. I will study at least five minutes every night for the coming up test. I will always bring my study sheet home to.

I want to help the fourth graders with their writing assignments. Every Tuesday and Thursday I want to become even better at writing so I can make them at writing. If I learn something I can teach them that to if they have the same problems. I will have to ask every question I have so I can tell the to do something.

I agree with you Brian is tough, I think no one should be making fun of him. He been in the woods probably longer than any in the school. Brian doesn't need to go back into the woods he already is tough enough. If he doesn't go to the woods ( which I know he does) there would be no story.

 the problem in my book is Brian has just got into High School and every one
is making fun of him and he wants to go into the wilderness. To prove to every one that he is tough
Canada for a certain amount of days so he can prove to every one he is tough as every one else.
I think he is tough enough because he has been in the woods a lot of other times.

I think it was hard for my mom to choose of giving me an b or a c.My mom likes doing things on the reading work shop because thats she expresses her self. I think she likes to do writing activities period because we got a new
computer.

today Gary Paulsen was telling about his first riffle and shot a Malered and it was wrong because it was agenst the law to use a riffle.

the character that is most like me is Gary Paulsen I would like to read every one of his books.This year because he does the same things I do like go hunting and we likes dogs.

Seth I think The HayMeadow is a really good book. Thank you for telling me about this book. I really like the part I'm at he just got attacked by the bare. I think I will go on and read more of Gary Paulsen books.

This is book where a little man could not go any where with out getting bit poked or pinched.
He we just running away from his troubles but there is troubles of all kinds sizes some big some small. Sometimes you just have to put up with them no where is perfect no madder how much people say it is perfect. Just be happy with what you have and every thing be all
right.

I thought that Charley was going to die but he did not because he got wounded by a bayonet that's a gun with a point at the end of it. He got wounded in the Battle of Getty`s Burg.

I am reading where Charley saw the horses get shot by the rebels and he said he really grown on them. He was sad watching them die I would be sad if my horses died because my horse Hank is a big baby.

I am reading where Charley is going through something like a dream of where he go's to the battle field again and they see all the dead body`s from the previous day. He ate this bread that made him eat a lot of food and when he try`s to puck it up he can`t. He is really different some times.

The best part of my book so far is when Brian see`s the dog on the bank waiting for Brian to stop. There was a another time where he had to shoot a young White tail deer and then a big buck came out and left before he could shoot. He said he could of shot four moose but it was to much meat for the dog and him and he did not want to waste the meat either.

Brian was going down stream and saw a dog. Then Brian stitched up the dog because it got injured by a bear. But Brian used fishing line and a hook to use as stitches and try to figure out where the dog came from. I thought a dog would be a good reassures to use in the woods.

I am reading where Brian is packing all his stuff to get ready for his next trip. He came prepared with a new can he can make a fire in his canoe to cook fish. He also brought his own recurve bow and arrow to shoot animals for food.
